I love repetition in music because I feel that it allows music to create a space we can exist and expand within, rather than a path or message we need to follow. Really enjoying this short piece, I might loop it a few times and stretch or meditate to this one.
Right, and that expansion from a single repetition is interesting when it comes to the artistic process: Since the potential variations on the "original phrase" are infinite in number, we have to accept that we can never fully be "done" exploring. Or rather, any sense of being finished has to first come from a place of contentment from the artist. That's a big part of what I'm going through in sharing small pieces of music here. Accepting that while these all may feel partial to me, even if explored more fully, in a sense nothing is ever "done."

I’m Not big on the repetition in music, either in the notes or the words, but I did love the way the music flowed and created a meditative feeling.
But maybe that means you really do enjoy the repetition...even just a little bit! Haha.
