So far in this series, when I've reached multiples of ten (i.e. #10 - Water Cooler and #20 - Truant) I've shared recordings from before we began our extended travels and I had other instruments around. I’ll stick with that pattern today and offer another piece recorded using synth, digital piano, and digital hand drum.
There are some subtle flourishes and effects that may not be audible on a phone speaker (just in case). But hell, it's amazing to have anyone hear my music at all so go ahead and listen on a wristwatch if that's your thing! Just saying though, it won't be the same.
That out of the way, one thing that's a little different about this piece is the way percussion and rhythm happen. It's not until the last few seconds that a drum occurs and so drums don't play a big rhythmic role. I left them in at the end to sort of carry the song to its finish. Initially I had drums throughout but I realized that they were detracting from the rhythmic effect created by the tremolo on the synth chords.
