Happy Friday and thanks for tuning back in.
We’ve been abroad awhile and I’m working with a compact little traveling music set-up consisting of a mini-keyboard (37 keys with a separate control to move up or down octaves) and a portable recorder. One advantage of being away from my other gear is that I know what I’m going to work with each time I sit down to play. It’s good for focusing.
It would be nice to build out this week’s piece, “Over Easy,” with other people and instrumentation. Still, it’s a lot of fun to play solo. Here’s a short jam on the Yamaha Reface CP mini keyboard. I’ve used a vintage Wurlitzer sound.
Have a wonderful weekend.
